What is knowledge?

What is knowledge.... The ability to know the facts? The capability to create an illusion and image to the public? I rather look at knowledge in an abstract way. Knowledge = Understanding Life from the aspect of love, wisdom and sympathy.

Bertrand Russell once said,
'Three passions have governed my life:
The longings for love, the search for knowledge,
And unbearable pity for the suffering of [humankind].

Love brings ecstasy and relieves loneliness.
In the union of love I have seen
In a mystic miniature the prefiguring vision
Of the heavens that saints and poets have imagined.

With equal passion I have sought knowledge.
I have wished to understand the hearts of [people].
I have wished to know why the stars shine.

Love and knowledge led upwards to the heavens,
But always pity brought me back to earth;
Cries of pain reverberated in my heart
Of children in famine, of victims tortured
And of old people left helpless.
I long to alleviate the evil, but I cannot,
And I too suffer.

This has been my life; I found it worth living. '

Life these days have been too hard for everyone. The passion for finding the truth beneath these lies has gone. Image are more important than principles. Knowledge teach us the fundamental of love and how to use it.... Blessing your enemies is a way of showing love and getting knowledge. The world is a small place. Bless your enemies as they do not know how much harm they did to the world and what they will get as returns. Bless them as they judge the world before they are judged. Love them as they teach you and show you actions and personalities you never see before. Love and Knowledge then bring you to humanity. Always remember this, Life means drama, Failures are lessons, Success marks effort, and Events show friends.

Role Models Of The Month

Two more hours to Thursday and three more days to Saturday.
Most of you guys must be sitting at home wondering what movie to bring your date to.
Legend of Chun Li? Dragonball?
With most hollywood movies looking like some college projects, there is no wonder that we are losing confidence on movies produced by hollywood even though they are getting good reviews!!
Don't worry. I have a good comedy to introduce to help you relax and putting this hectic week to the past.
Its the movie Role Models.

Do they look like role models to you?

To the casual observer, it must seem as though developmentally challenged slackers have assumed total control of the Hollywood comedy machine. After ‘Knocked Up’ and ‘Pineapple Express’ (to name but two), ‘Role Models’ arrives as yet another tale of directionless thirtysomethings who are forced into awkward situations and stumble across the meaning of life. When this formula is poorly handled (as with the recent ‘Zack and Miri’) it can be excruciatingly shallow and crass. But when it works it can make for genuine, heartfelt comedy gold. ‘Role Models’ works.

Hauled in by the cops following a rampant energy juice bender, Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (a mercifully restrained Seann William Scott) are sentenced to 150 hours of community service in the company of two troubled kids: hyperactive, foul-mouthed ten-year-old Ronnie (Bobb’e J Thompson) and role-playing Dungeons & Dragons nerd Augie (Christopher ‘McLovin’’ Mintz-Plasse). The usual hi-jinks ensue, before everyone learns and grows and hugs, and Rudd sings a song.

They sure know how to show you how to live life

So far, so predictable. But who cares when the script is tight, the jokes clever and numerous, the characters rounded and likeable and the soundtrack studded with ’70s rock classics? Added value comes in the form of some spectacularly off-the-wall cameo appearances, most notably Jane Lynch in another brittle, worrying performance as an ex-cokehead turned protector of children. ‘Role Models’ isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel, just polish it up a little. What emerges is a memorable slice of modern slapstick, with charm to spare and just a touch of soul.

Reshaping A Sedentary Life

' We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.'
- Anais Nin

Does public opinions on your actions matters? Often we bow towards the decisions of the majority as we are afraid of being indifferent. We are afraid of change. We do not dare to take the risk to branch out, as we are afraid that at the end of the day, we will be alone. For us, humans; loneliness is what we fear most.

But isn't this what life is about? Finding our inner self. As time passes by, people tend to misunderstand the meaning of life. We live to follow the crowd, we follow the flow but the truth is we are running away from the miracle of life. We are losing the opportunity to live the life we want, to get knowledge from this world and to reach self actualization. In this era, being truthful and finding inner peace is no longer the fundamentals of life. Instead, people are discriminated for taking the road less travelled.

Guys, try to look at life from another perspective. No one in this world cares about your actions and thoughts. They may comment on you, but the next thing you know, its history. So do not give in to the crowd. Do not judge as you will be judge too. By obeying god's plan, you are actually making this world a better place.Eleanor Roosevelt stated, " People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built." Life begins when you are following your soul, listening to your heart and growing with righteousness.Change!! Do not be scared to be alone as being in a group will only give you temporary courage.

Friendship on the line

Once quoted by François Duc de La Rochefoucauld,

friends forever

' A true friend is the greatest of all blessings and that which we take the least care of all to acquire '

He is right when he said that. A true friend is not only a blessing but the greatest blessing of all. But we always take friends for granted.
We expect them to be by your side when we need them.
We assumed that we could ask favors from them at any time.

But what about giving?
We take every bit of utility we could get from our friends, our true friends to be exact because they are always there for us.
But have we ever thought of giving them love and care?
Recently i've lost a few of my friends, friends that would stand by me.
I would take anything in the world to make things back to normal.
Its not about the amount of friends you got,
So think about it and appreciate your close friends.
Give them a hug, write to them the words from your heart, and hold them with both hand.

Monday Blues..

Mondays.......
Its the start of a new week.
Its the day we are late for classes.
Its our moody day.
So to overcome your monday blues, I would like to introduce to you guys a new album that could help you kick start your day.

This beautiful singer here is Lenka Kripac.
As a teen actress trained under Cate Blanchett, this australian landed some leading roles on stage, television and indie films.
Soon after that, Lenka got into music.First trying her luck in a band called Decoder Ring, she branched out as a solo artist.
Some of her songs actually got played in tv series such as Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy!!
With some cute pop songs that are undeniably catchy, this album is a must have.
I highly recommend you to buy the song "skip-along" and place it as your alarm for tommorrow morning.
It will definitely set you in the mood for a long roller coaster ride for the whole entire week.

Lenka - Skip-along
So tired of feeling blue.
such a heavy weight on you.
So shake it off and make your way
to somewhere different. [x2]
Oh no now you’re leaving me
oh what will you do all alone
in the big bad world?
but I'm not worried, no.
[Chorus:]
Cause we're gonna skip along,
Quite merrily, baby.
you’re gonna revel and
hey, there what’s goin' on?
And you’re like a sugar bomb
and no harm will come
no harm will come
if you just skip along.
acting oblivious.
Comes natural to us. Keep smiling knowing all the while
the world will fall apart.
[x2]
Ah, Ah
[Chorus]
Wouldn't it be lovely to be home? Oh
safe and sound with no one left
to bring us down but that's so far away.
[Chorus x2]
la di da
No harm will come if we just skip along
.

A New Chapter Of Life

Welcome to my blog.
I'm Joey and this will be a blog of my life, my thoughts and everything around me.
Today i will start by talking about the basis of life - Love

Is this love?

" Love is about intersecting the soul of oneself to the people around and treat them with unconditional care and sincerity"

When we see the word love, we see the beauty of two people together, we see a happy family, we see happiness, we see hope.
But is that love or a temporary illusion created to overcome our loneliness?
Some people say love is a fairy tale.
Some people states that love is a concept created so that we have something to wait for.
So does love exists?
In my opinion, love do exists. Love brings out the purity of a human heart. Love is the fundamental principle that gets us going.
But love is something a human can never achieve. Instead, Love is something human is pursuing in a journey call Life.
That is why love hurts. We as humans can never taste the true meaning of love because we try to own it.
That is the difference between attraction and love.
